The Brand took the series 2-1 over Area 51, winning the only two games that were truly contested. Game 1 belonged entirely to Rapierrrr, whose four-goal eruption powered The Brand to a 5-3 win despite an early scare when Gucci Goals' opener was answered by vshotsy and cxshmoney20. Game 2 was a much tighter affair: Hoots l16l gave Area 51 the lead midway through the first, Rapierrrr tied it minutes later, and the two sides traded chances through sixty scoreless minutes of hockey before Gucci Goals ended it in overtime. With the series already decided, Game 3 was conceded by forfeit, putting a 3-0 consolation win on the board for Area 51. Rapierrrr was the undisputed engine of the series, scoring five of The Brand's seven goals — including the four-goal masterclass in Game 1 and the crucial equalizer in Game 2 — while adding 21 hits for good measure. Gucci Goals proved the ultimate complement, opening the scoring in Game 1 and burying the overtime winner in Game 2, while witttn quietly racked up four assists from the blue line and See dub 21 dominated the dot at 66.7%. For Area 51, vshotsy led from the back end with two goals and an assist and Hoots l16l battled through a physical series, but the supporting cast simply couldn't generate enough offense, managing just 21 shots across the two games. The deciding factor was goaltending and puck management. RedSkinStallion was excellent for The Brand, stopping 18 of 22 shots (.818, 2.00 GAA) and slamming the door in overtime, while tugeye92 was left exposed by 72 Area 51 giveaways and allowed 7 goals on 23 shots. The Brand also owned the faceoff circle 26-13 and held the edge in time on attack, meaning that even in a series where the shot totals were nearly even, the territorial battle consistently tilted toward the eventual winners.
