Whoa, what a night on January 8th with the intense matchup between Back 2 Basics and The Association! The game ended with The Association clinching a solid 5-2 victory in the first game of the series. Chandler4911 was an absolute beast, lighting up the scoreboard with 2 goals and 3 assists, while xroamingxroninx added a goal and a couple of assists to the mix. Back 2 Basics had their moments with Prodigyx8 and Im-Rukia putting a couple behind the goalie, but they just couldn't keep up with the relentless attack. Fast forward to game two, and The Association maintained their dominance, overpowering Back 2 Basics 6-2. Xchampx75 really came to play, racking up a whopping 4 goals and helping his team drive the momentum. Not to be outdone, Chandler4911 showed that he's not just a scorer, dishing out 6 assists throughout the game. I mean, come on, that’s insane! Despite some individual efforts from AOW CYNICAL and Prodigyx8, it was back to the drawing board for Back 2 Basics. In the end, The Association surely established themselves as the team to beat in this series. Two back-to-back wins with scores of 5-2 and 6-2 definitely set the tone. They'll need to keep this momentum rolling as they head into the next challenges! Meanwhile, Back 2 Basics has some serious reflecting to do if they want to turn their fortunes around in the next matchups.
