What a wild night it was between the Backdoor Bandits and the Vorpal Swords in a series of intense EASHL matchups! The Swords came out on top in the first game with a final score of 2-1, thanks to decisive performances from Johnny H0ckey and prochx9, who both racked up points. Even with 16 shots, the Bandits managed to only get one past the Swords’ goalie, ll Superstar ll, who was looking like a brick wall, stopping 15 of 16 attempts. The Bandits' lone goal scorers were Quinnman and Bcrippsx31 who made plays, but it just wasn’t enough in a close matchup. The energy didn’t let up as they faced off again, but this time the Bandits flipped the script and sneaked out a 3-2 overtime victory! Attree x I33I and Madaia23 led the charge with a goal each, while Jewbawkka sealed it with a clutch overtime winner. Vorpal had their veterans bigjayy and bigjayy trying to keep pace, but Bcrippsx31 rose to the occasion with 30 saves, putting up a powerful defensive effort for the Bandits. Finally, in the last game of the night, it was all Vorpal as they clinched a 6-2 victory! Bigjayy and prochx9 both netted hat tricks, demonstrating their striking prowess throughout the game. The Bandits had moments of brilliance from Attree x I33I and Madaia23, but with ll Superstar ll only allowing them to score twice, the night truly belonged to Vorpal.
